I'm Joana
Hello and Thank You for wanting to know more about who is behind the lens.
I'm Joana, I grew up in the nostalgic 80's, in the times when people played in the street after school and went to the popular fair when the summer holidays started.
I am a clinical psychologist and I practice the profession. However, the love for recording memories grew with me.
I always had the need to accumulate memories, in an attempt to stop time and with fear that he would bring with me oblivion.
I'm happy to be able to remember my life path through countless images that I have saved in boxes.
Photography has always been very present in my life and it was in 2018 that I started this journey that I had never believed possible.
In each session held I feel that it is the realization of a dream.
Curiosities:
I'm a movie eater, a book consumer and I want to travel to see the whole world.
“Music in the Heart” is the movie of my life and my favorite series are “Friends” and “This is Us”.
I am the mother of James Dean and Risotto, the most pampered and loving dog and cat in (my) world.
The most beautiful starry sky is Santa Maria, in the Azores – the island that adopted me and that I adopted as my own.
The most beautiful month is September and the favorite season is autumn.
I like the smell of peppers, basil and coffee (although I don't drink it) and let me eat the raw dough of the cakes, I'm happy.
